So much.
So much has happened over these 3 days.
29.05.08
It was CIP at NUS High School of Math and Science. What we had to do was to teach little kiddies (P4) how to play Quarto, Quixo and Quoridor when they came to our booths.
They played with their partners most of the time and the winner would get 4 stamps.
Yeah our job was to instruct, babysit and stamp their booklets.
The environment was fantastic haha, funny DJs playing spastic music.
It was a super meaningful CIP. I could feel the strain in my throat when I tried to compete against the dumb blaring loudspeaker just above our heads.
Enjoyed myself totally, TEACHING KIDS HOW TO PLAY BOARD GAMES LOL.
Yeay. Russell was with me. (:
Challenged him to Quarto, then lost most of the time. Haha never MIND.
And I also find the NUS High people super friendly.
Some were quite sociable as well… They just walked over, sat down, started playing in our booths and asked us to join them in the games. -.-
So we ended up having some of the booths being occupied by kids over the age of 15.
30.05.08
YAY. Second day of the CIP.
Russell and I got Wen Hao as a third companion today. Woohoo.
The job of stamping their booklets was allocated to Wen Hao wahahahaha, so Russell and I were slacking a little bit more.
The kids were obviously engaged in their games, reluctant to leave to go to their “workshops”.
Sigh. The 4 hours of CIP just passed like that.
Was one of the fabulous CIP events that I participated in throughout my four years in high school.

14th SLC!
Went back to Hwa Chong to crash the 14SLC Grand Finale.
Hell, there were like seventeen 13SLC facilitators squawking at the back of the auditorium, twenty 13SLC OT members and a football flying across the projectors and spotlights.
How high can that get? LOL.
The participants were screaming and shouting this year, even without the coaxing of the facilitators.
And there was this uber spastic cheer that kept resonating across the audi.
It went something like
“I-love-anli-you-love-anli-weall-love-anli”
then you keep repeating it until it sounds like a worship chant.
Uber high atmosphere la!
Sad thing was, the songs for the performances kept screwing up, and everyone started blaming poor Mediatech. Happy Mr. Desmond and his crew.
Oh yeah, I think 14SLC OT fiddled around with the controls backstage. LOL, during one of the performances the spotlights just dropped down wth!
But it was a super duper high Grand finale! Loved the bonding.
Man, Chern Yuen ur too serious la

BING LIN.
I am super proud of this guy.
This shuai-ge has really made me proud.
Haha, enthu participant cum group leader last year, now has transformed into an imba fac.
Admirable la.
Epic transformation!
Absolutely EXCELLENT bondage with your group; “Binglin I’ll miss you ~ Muacks” Wah Seh. kiss leh.
Your action paper chosen as base action paper, then cluster, then consortium paper! WTH! Totally IMBA.
Haha, cannot say that I gave you experience, but you’re a damn zhai fac urself. KEEP IT UP ARH!
“I cannot teach you how to be a good fac, so you’ve to find that out for yourself, cause a good fac comes from you.” - Lim Dah Wei, I’m really effin emo to have said this line.
Oideachas really loves you. <3
Great job, Bing Lin.
13SLC Fac of DIONYSUS, LIM DAH WEI.
13SLC Group Leader of DIONYSUS, 14SLC Fac of Oideachas, BING LIN!
forever bonded, woooo so roma.
~~~
Ah the good times, yeay!
The baton’s passed. My dream brought forth from 13SLC fulfilled, with Bing Lin’s wonderful accomplishment.
(‘:
ORH Ya.
One more person to mention.
JO-ANN – Jia Kun’s damn lonely. (: Have fun in Wales though.
————-
After the whole Grand Finale, I sat down in the middle of the auditorium.
The 13slc facs dinner was beckoning. But I just had to savour that very last bit of SLC.
Haiz,
The air was embraced by the spirit of SLC, the tears of the participants, the love and relationships formed and the everlasting memories – that would always be FROZEN IN ICE.
I loved that feeling.
I knew that another 600 stories had unfolded.
And SLC is really more than just the conference.
It was the love.
————-
WAH SEH Mad Jacks for 13SLC facs dinner. Crapping session. (:
Was sitting beside Elizabeth, who kept talking to everyone lol. Very hyper and sociable, then contrasted with me? Haha. Emo kia sitting beside chirpy lady.
Freakin fatigued after the whole SLC thing. We went Gelato to slack around, then the 74-gang went home aboard 74 (:
Elizabeth “persuaded” me to sit beside her again -.-, yeah rummage ma bag to find me notebook and plough through it.
All the stuff inside *poof* revealed.
Never mind la, enjoyed the 74 experience yet again.
Rarely get together with the 13SLC facs mah, so the feeling of being united yet again was heartwarming.
Reached home, knocked out after a few episodes of Band of Brothers.
31.05.08
nEbO amazing Race LOL.
WTH THIS THING IS SUPER SCREWED…
I was in school about to fulfill an appointment then I received a msg from Wen Hao asking me where I was, cause nEbO was starting.
I was like OH SHIT I TOTALLY FORGOT today was the nEbO amazing Race.
Then I felt damn paiseh cause I really let the group down this time.
Chionged back home, got changed, signed the consent form, chionged to Plaza Singapura. WOOO, made it there on time.
The race was really UBER exciting.
Even though we dint win, I could feel the strong bonds that were forming between us.
The entire race was focused on teamwork and NTUC (-.-)
We had a few stations to complete and had to run across like 20? 30? km from Marina Bay to Downtown East.
Station 1 – Wheel Barrow + Blow a Balloon and pop it.
Aiya this was total ownage. XC (farmer) and I (wheelbarrow) totally pwnt the timing.
The balloon thing was screwed.
I was forced to balance on 1 hand and blow the balloon with my other hand. Wth… at first I thought I had to blow until the dumb thing pop in my face, so I blew the stupid thing till it was bulging.
Then I realized I could just smack it on the ground to burst it.
Wasted so much precious time.
Station 2 – Piggyback.
Owned it as well. Lol we just sprinted like 10 laps carrying each other.
Wen Hao and I were 1 pair.
Baifeng and Xc the other.
own.
Station 3 – Skipping rope at Fort Canning Park.
MAN, getting to the effin station was already strenuous enough. We had to climb to the peak of FCP.
Then we were supposed to jump rope.
Yeahoo.
And every single one of us had to jump.
We gotta complete these tasks while jumping as well. -.-
1. Turn around
2. Touch the ground
3. Climb the stairs (just pretend)
4. Snap your fingers
5. Do a prayer
6. Say “Goodnight”
Looks simple? It aint.
Our group took like 10 minutes to get prepared.
Our final timing was 1 minute. (: RECORD TIMING!
Yeah!
On our way to Station 4, we had to prepare for a 2min song/dance/rap item about NTUC -.-
LOL super funny.
We changed the lyrics of You Raise Me Up by WestLife and the Hwa Chong Willow Willow Cheer to hit the 2 minute mark.
We know we know we know we know we know we know (echo)
We know we know we know we know we know we know (echo)
Everywhere we go
People want to know
What we buy
Where we buy from
So we tell them
N-T-U-C
Super duper bargains
Fresh and Healthy Products
Any Scam? No Scam! <<<< LOL.
NTUC
ALLLLLL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
LOLLOLOLOLOL. Was laughing like shit during the MRT trip from Dhoby Ghaut to Tampines…
Station 4 – Present the entertainment item to 3 random strangers.
We grabbed 3 Chung Cheng High School guys (TY!) to listen.
They gave us
10. 10. 10.
LOL
Station 5 – Oh. (:
We needed to find the total price of 5 Cheers products placed on the station table. EASY? LOL. $8.44
Station 6 – Man I believe this station screwed up our winning streak…
We walked like 3km, wasting about 30 minutes of time.
Then when we finally reached the station we’ve got minimal energy to chiong to the end point, and totally screwed up the rest of the competition.
We also realized that there was a direct bus from the interchange to this station -.-
Sad.
Station 6 was a catapillar crawl for 10m -.- Even though only hands and butts were allowed, we completed it in 16s. Another record timing LOL.
Station 7 / End Point – Downtown East
Haiz, we dint win, but the bonding was duper great.
Really loved the friendship man.
————-
nEbO closing ceremony!
They got 2 bands to perform and I’ve got three sentences to describe the whole experience.
1. I was sleeping.
2. Screaming into the mike, swearing and jamming to act like some cool ass is not music to my ears.
3. Get lost, you suck.
During the prize presentation, we obviously dint win, so I wasn’t paying attention.
But the lucky draw? Hoho.
TWICE. It got so close to our group.
We’ve got 2142, 2143, 2144 and 2145 (Baifeng’s, but he misplaced it)
Sheik Haikel: TWO…………..ONEEEEEEEEE…………..FFFFFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUURRRR…….
sss…sss….SSSSSSSSSSSSSSIXXXXXXXX.
DAMNIT!
The lucky draw was also hilarious.
As the lucky draw for the 1st prize was about to take place, all eyes were on S.H.
Sheik Haikel: What number do you all want!!!!!!!
Crowd: TWOO TWO TWOOOO TWOOOOOOOO TWO!!!!!!
Sheik Haikel: And for the first prize… we’ve got………………………………..*heart stops* …….. ONE!
THEN THE CROWD REACTION WAS SUPER SUPER SUPER FUNNY.
Everyone started WALKING OFF LOL. DAMN FUNNY.
Everybody just daoed the closing ceremony and walked off HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA.
That included our group.
Poor Sheik.
Nobody was listening (:
Our group decided to use our Escape theme park voucher (since it was free and expired TODAY o_O)
We had a thrilling experience in E.T.P.
Rainbow was hilarious. Was laughing like some madass. Cause some random guy beside me shouted HWA CHONG! HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME!- think baifeng.
Haunted House was o_O… total failure. The ushers were BRINGING us along, which destroys the haunted experience. Not that there was one to be afraid of.
What I did.
Actually, what I WANTED to do.
In Korea, I had a chance to pull the ghost’s hand. LOL. In Singapore, they’ve got this stupid “No Aggression to ghostly beings” rule hahaha.
So wanted to step on any idiot that stuck out his hand and grabbed my leg.
Then this stupid Haunted House had ushers trying to scare us…
She tapped my shoulder. I turned around and shouted in her face suddenly (shock)! In my most unnatural behaviour. I think she was the one that freaked out lor. haha.
Viking was fun. Free fall effect.
Inverter was sick. Pure sickness. Blood rushed to my head (: Then could see the horizon… the wrong way round.
Roller Coaster was stupid.
The Yakult Plane thing was stupid.
The Water Boats thing was uber wetty FUN! HAHHAHAHA!
YEAH! Zhi Cong, Wen Hao, XC and I were spraying each other using the water cannons. LOL. SO FUN.
Got drenched after that, then walking home was pretty… weird, with your pants all wet.
Haiz, SO MUCH has happened over these 3 days.
It was sexy.
Dahwei.
Story unfolded.
Dear Friends.
If you were to just watch one episode of One Piece, it would be this one.
Goodbye, Merry.
Comments:
Kukari: AAAAHH…
When I first saw this I kinda teared up during the song, but I didnt cry…
….
Untill Merry talked….
Trinksiz: omg I never cried when i saw the manga on this part but when i saw this I can’t stop crying omg T______________________T
IcePummel: Man…this is one of the reasons why i like One Piece. They know how to make u cry alot and when its the right time. Man, when Merry talked it was like a trigger i started crying…
Its only a sign that you value friendship
——————————
————————————-
First time I watched this? I weeped cried. ):
Urgh, even when I rewatch it, it’s still so damn sad. Walao when Merry starts talking to Luffy, urgh, tried to hold back tears lo.
It just triggers my memories of really sad things in my life, and the misery that I’ll have to endure when my loved ones will eventually leave me.
Hmph, I guess it’ll only touch those who’ve accompanied Merry throughout the One Piece series. :/
Walao, the Snow (yuki) + the Strawhat Pirate Crew (Mugiwara Kaizoku) + the memories of their journey with Merry (frozen in ice) + Dear Friends – by Triplane + earplugs creates this uber sad ambience… that really causes us to reflect, what’ll you do when a loved one leaves you?
Man, this episode was excellent. Great song, great memories, great crew. The most touching episode of OP.
Of course, Merry’s sentimental value to my blog readers will be greatly reduced, since most of you guys don’t indulge in this Anime.
————
But back to the issue at hand?
Do you value your loved ones beyond just valuing them?
Your loved ones were your bastion of love, hope and care in times of adversity. They would never give up on you, and most would go to the very ends of the Earth just to protect you.
Their relationship with us is indescribable and of utmost value.
However, many often disregard their loved ones, taking their love for granted.
Surely, somewhere deep down inside your rebellious nature, you’ld feel for them.
The fact that you’re bonded to them in kinship is already an explicit form of relationship.
You love them. And they love you. You can’t run from that.
This would be a very gentle reminder to all, that one should not take a loved one’s care and concern for granted.
Cliche? Yeah. But most forsake and neglect these gifts of love for pleasure, self-enjoyment and benefit.
How many times have we seen families broken over an argument?
How many times have we seen children being abused by their parents?
How many times have we seen children neglecting their parents and/or rebelling against them?
How many times, have we seen abandoned parents in homes?
I doubt my eyes, but the numbers are growing.
Humanity has morphed to the extent which children find their loved ones a nuisance and some even dare commit the cadinal sin of murder.
This is depressing.
I can’t do much in a post about Love and Family, but what I can say for sure is,
Nothing’s too late.
And I’ll leave it there
for you to realize.
